R15.1 CD Ripper: artist column always shown, even if not a compilation

How do I get the artist column to always show in CDRipper?

If I tick the Compilation tick box it appears, if I untick, it disappears.

It suggests that you are not running R15.1, because this was one of the changes in R15.1, and I just tried now, Artist column always shows regardless of Compilation.

Try selecting 'Default Columns' from that menu.

Selected 'Default Columns'. Note, no Artist and no Year column even though they are ticked.

If you right click on CDGrab.exe >> Details

            which version number is shown?

                ... a bug in 15.1.0.2?

Not sure, I have 15.1.0.2 and it shows artist column always....

I will mark as a possible bug.

If I manually edit the CDRipperColumns1 registry key, I can get it to show the artist column always.

I can confirm that I have the same results as mville. Artist column does not show unless compilation is ticked. I've tried all the suggestions above and end up in same place as mville.
edit: using latest version 15.1 (64 bit)

What happens if you delete ' CDRipperColumns1'? in the registry?

CDRipperColumns1 gets re-created, as in pic in post *5, with no artist or year column displayed.
