Problem I have got my self into, laptop sends digital (2ch lossless) signal to av amp, av amp has software in it to convert signal into various surround sound formats, one or two are pretty impressive but none of them send much bass to the rear speakers, I do do do, like my bass and assumed there would be a setting that sent the same signal to rears as fronts, but alas no. (like the old speaker pairs A and B before AV amps appeared)
I love the sound that comes out of the amp so wondered if there was software around that could tell the av amp to send more bass to the rear speakers so the whole room feels the beat nicely.
Is any one able to help?
