Asset Control

Hi all,

Forgive my ignorance but did asset control get a full release or did it just stay in beta. I can't find the download anywhere.
Also is it essential to have asset control to stream music to an android device or as long as I have asset upnp installed and am running with a compatible android app will this suffice

All help with be greatly appreciated
