Thread: Can the music converter be run from the command-line?

  1. #1

Can the music converter be run from the command-line?

Just curious... I use a vbscript that I've written to mirror my FLAC library in MP3. Can dbpa's music converter be used non-interactively, say from a batch file, to do something similar, or can conversions only be done manually?

How would one control tag field mappings? Say you wanted to drop certain fields, like ARTISTSORT or ALBUMSORT, or you wanted to control whether a field like COMPILATION was mapped to either TCMP or TXXX/COMPILATION?

You can use the DSP settings:

However you will not be able to do "COMPILATION was mapped to either TCMP or TXXX/COMPILATION" as it is non standard, compilation is stored in TCMP.
