Confusion with MultiEncoder and Replay Gain

    Hi

I use the MultiEncoder to create MP3 (Lame) and FLAC at the same time. I also want to apply ReplayGain, Track or Album depending on the type of album.
    - If I apply RG by Album, I find the Tags in MP3 as well as in FLAC.
    - If I apply RG by Track, I find the Tags in FLAC but not in MP3.
I set up RG in the MultiEncoder settings dialog. Global DSP dialog is empty.

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks
    McL

If using multi-encoder, you are best batch replaygaining your whole collection after ripping.

      Thanks!
Decided to remove RG in MultiEncoder settings and use Album-RG only in DSP settings.

Re: Confusion with MultiEncoder and Replay Gain

I am using RG for album and track and multi-encoder for FLAC and mp3 successfully. It calculates track gain album gain, track peak and album peak for all files as part of the multi-encoder routine. No need to run a separate batch convert for RG. Or is there spoon?

I have the RG applied as DSP effect for each encoder, mp3 and FLAC.
