Very interesting - additional background - both the Klimax DS and the Sneaky DS have the issue...

RIPNAS has now recovered from its near death experience - but these issues remain - recently replaced both switches in the network (now Netgear GS108) but no improvement...

...interesting one - took it to my dealer - using their power supply it booted, ran a checkdsk and is now fine...Seems my power supply failed...

....switched it off over night - and now it won't power up at all... Orange light comes on momentarily, then nothing... Lights inside the case are on...

Worried....

My RIPNAS Statement is not booting - the HDD light is stuck on constantly, and the server doesn't come up.

I checked only last week if all was healthy and there wwre no reported issues....i fear...
