  1. Re: What happened to ripping an Audio CD as an option when inserting an audio CD?

I was on 14.something previously. I'll try the reinstall.
  2. What happened to ripping an Audio CD as an option when inserting an audio CD?

Since installing 15.1 the option is gone. I used to stick in an audio CD and it'd ask if I wanted it ripping with dbPoweramp as one of the options.

Now it's gone, not even in the list any more?

  3. Audioscrobbler/scrobbling support in Asset UPnP

Any chance of adding scrobbling to last.fm support? To scrobble it requires an account which you just enter the username/password.

I still use my Squeezebox because of this as it has built-in...

    Audioscrobbler support?

Is there likely to be any support for scrobbling from Asset? To be honest, apart from gapless it's the one reason I still use my Squeezebox and don't switch to Asset with my AVR.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

    Re: ReplayGain for mp3

It sounds like when Asset reencodes it isn't passing across your tags or artwork which I'd report as a bug.

FLAC would also have to be reencoded to apply replaygain. It's because the client...

Re: CD/DVD Drive Accuracy List 2012

How are we supposed to find these drives? For example, Sony drives I've had are actually OptiArc and Samsung are TSSTcorp sometimes. Plus the model numbers on websites are not those that are listed...

Recommended and available to buy drive?

Can anyone recommend one? I bought a BR reader/DVD writer thinking what could be a problem? Wrong, the drive is fine but it's crap for ripping, it frequently has to secure rip on new discs, except if...

Re: How long should the upload take?

Another new user that would like to see some more information from the client, i.e. what file it's processing, what has been done etc etc.

At the moment it looks like it's doing nothing.

Re: How do I add AC3 File Support?

No offence but there are plenty of free programs to do this. You didn't have to pay money, you can't blame dbPoweramp when you didn't do enough research.

    Re: M4A to Flac conversion?

It sounds like you get some seriously pooped up music. I've never needed to edit any ripped CDs. Replaygain takes care of volume levels. If something is too quiet I turn up the volume or down if it's...

    Scrobbling to last.fm?

    Hi,

Will Asset allow scrobbling of streamed tracks to be submitted to last.fm?

For my current setup I use a Squeezebox which allows me to use Replaygain, scrobbling and gapless.

    I'm looking...

    Upgrading from R13.5 to R14?

Apologies if this is the wrong forum but it appears I can't do this.

  17. Re: 'Unable to start CD Burning' in Win 7 64 bit?

Well burninator is a documented bug on Win 7. Nero 8 I just can't find a FLAC plugin.

Nero 8 actually works fine with WAV files, I just can't find a plugin.

CD Writer just doesn't do anything....
  18. 'Unable to start CD Burning' in Win 7 64 bit?

    Hi folks,

Someone really doesn't want me to burn CDs! fb2k's burninator, nope, Nero 8, nope (for FLACs) and now dbPoweramp CD Writer.

I've set it to Vista SP2 compatibility mode, Run as...

    Ripper Initial Setup Wizard?

    Hi,

    Just a quick suggestion.

It might be a nice thought to have an initial setup wizard to set this up, i.e. so you can decide on secure ripping etc, ripping locations etc etc, ReplayGain.

Re: Ripper not asking for a key disc?

It was wrong by about +10 compared with AccurateRips check. It was a new install so I certainly hadn't changed it but it's sorted now :)

Re: Ripper not asking for a key disc?

Managed to sort. By default it'd put an offset in so I had to reset to zero to get it to detect it....not really very use friendly.

Ripper not asking for a key disc?
