doesn't dB music converter actually decode these files before encoding to flac and thus 'restore' some of the 'lost' data (which is lost on conversion to AAC by apple)?
or doesnt it work like...
Hi
When I purchase music from the iTunes store it comes in AAC format which is not recognised by twonky server - for id tagging purposes.
My question is .......
If I convert these iTunes...
ok. so i got rid of the antivirus on my mac, and album art is back!! but when i open the cd ripper main window, without a cd in the drive, the screen constantly - twice or more every second "flashes"...
OK, so i just installed kaspersky on windows 7, and allowed cd ripper through the firewall, and still no album art apart from AMG and GD3......... HELP!!!!!
Any other ideas spoon?
i don't have any firewalls/antivirus software installed - apart from windows firewall, which didn't solve the problem when i turned it off......
just tried it on my fully registered version of reference r14.2 on my pc and it seems to get album art from the internet fine.......
just not on my iMac running parallels.....
HELP!!!
hi there.
there seems to be no "internet" album art available when using r14.2 on an iMac running parallels.... there is occasionally album art, but ONLY that of AMG and the other three metadata...
thanks for clearing that up for me.
so this whole process is possible - amazing really...:D
and as spoon mentioned, the metadata (track/artist/album)/artwork will also
be preserved if i do as...
thanks for the reply.;)
how do you mean 'main folder'?
i have the 'artist' (artist name) folders ------- -about 900 of them- (inside these folders are about 1500 'album' (album name)...
hi:smile2:
i have a large number of flac files (the large majority ripped using dbpoweramp, although there are some 24bit flac file downloads too) on an external hard drive, and would like to know...
yeah, i have de-selected two of the providers - i am now only using AMG and FREEDB and the metadata is as fast as normal again!!
i have noticed that FREEDB is more accurate anyway...
:D
using beta r14.2 and (perfect) meta data has become extremely slow after reading disc - 2 minutes or more before it appears!!!! artwork is still ok though...
this has happened overnight as it was...
ah ok...
but then don't you mean a confidence of one?
sorry confused....
what do you mean by confidence of two or more?
---if i have ripped the disc previously, and submitted the "secure" (NOT "ACCURATE") rip results - and no one else has ripped...
hi
if i have sent accurate rip (secure rip) results for cds which weren't previously in accurate rip, would they then be in accurate rip if (god forbid):vmad: i had to rip them again?
or does...
will the proper version of r14.2 be available as free with my current registered license?:komisch9:
just realised what you said....
what do i do for a licence after 06/2012??????????
i have paid quite a lot of money for my registered licence, and if this beta version expires, i will have lost...
thanks mr. spoony g.
problem sorted!!!!
is this version safe????
and will i need to reset all of the settings - encoding preferences/ultra secure settings/cd drive offset etc. etc.?????
thanks.
it seems that there is no artwork coming up for most of my albums anymore, it worked fine a couple of weeks ago.
it mainly concerns "choose from internet" in the get artwork bit of cd ripper....
hi,
is it possible to convert dbpoweramp Flac files (on a PC) to MP3 files (on a PC) - using dbmusicconverter, and then use/play the resulting MP3 files on a mac (in itunes) - using a usb...
hi there.:D
i have been using the 'peak to peak volume normalise' DSP when ripping some of my cds, and would like to know if this DSP degrades audio quality AT ALL....?
i am using flac encoder,...
thanks for the positive response fellas!
was just a little wary of flac as i have never used it before!!
seems that it is the way forward for me....:smile2:
and EliC - in cd ripper :
