Mention of the application SMFCUSetup09152.exe (Sony MP3 Conversion Tool) is made in this topic. It would be available at http://www.connect.com/download_mp3Conv.html but the link is dead. Does anyone have this file for me? It appears to be a lot better than that buggy SonicStage bloatware.

This MIGHT be the codec we need, but it is compressed in .prx format. It was gotten off the PSP ISO for Pac-Man World 3.

Re: ATRAC3 & ATRAC3Plus Support

Hello!

I am so angry I could eat my keyboard!! :vmad: Please help me if you can.. First of all, greetings everyone, I am new on this forum. The thing is: I recently got a sony
player and SonicStage which I got with it just doesn't work. It keeps informing me: Updating SonicStage database. SonicStage will be restarted after the updating has completed. However I still cannot start SonicStage, even after updating the damn SonicStage (from 3.4 to 4.2), and doing probably everything
the troubleshooting link on the sony support portal suggested (even messing with the mdac.inf files). The mf still doesn't work.. So i was wondering if any of you had the similar problem or/and can help me with it!
I never used the atrac3, still using mp3 and have no intention of changing that, but the player doesn't have the same opinion :o so I have to do something..
Thanx!
