dBpowerAMP AAC Codec
Now with input (read) ability as well as existing writing (through fastenc and aacenc), tags are saved off as Ape2 as default, but can read / edit Ape1 & id3, download:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/beta/dMC-AAC-Codec.exe
550KB
for those who want maximum quality, after installation of the above, install this:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/beta/dBpowerAMP-codec-aac-aacenc-alter.exe
328KB
which gives a slightly high quality encode, but is slower to do so. After installation make sure 'Locate' is pressed to locate encode.bat
-
This week I hope to finish a lossless (as in it looses no quality decoding and encoding) AAC >> Mp4 and Mp4 >> AAC codec with full tag transfer abilities.
-
locate? why?
After installation make sure 'Locate' is pressed to locate AACENC
Um, forgive my ignorance, but when choosing 'Locate' in compression settings of dBpowerAMP Music Converer Audio CD Input, it is only after 'encode.bat'. What is the aacenc.exe for?
-
Sorry wrong wording, for that codec encode.bat is correct.

Re: dBpowerAMP AAC Codec
now i'm lost? i can only locate: dBpowerAMP\Compression\Advanced Audio Coding (CLI)\aacenc.exe
which seems to work.

Re: dBpowerAMP AAC Codec
