    Tag-based DSP parameters

Can External tag scripting somehow write the DSP options to the current commandline?

I need to determine DSP parameters on the basis of the tags e.g. different Genres to have different Trims.

    I prefer to avoid 2-pass.

    Thanks.

Sadly these values are not present.

Sorry to be unclear. By determine I mean set. I.e. From within the script, I need to write to the commandline to set some DSP parameters.

Is there any way the commandline can be written to by the script?

          OK, thanks.

Please consider adding the option of including the commandline in the data file passed to/from the script.

Is this now possible, in R16?

It cannot, the reason being all scripting deals with CoreConverter, the utility codecs require the level above which is 'music converter'

But this application does not involve any utility codec.

As I said, it uses "External tag scripting" https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthr...Update-ID-Tag)

I accept that it called "External tag scripting" but it would be great if it could script also the parameters of subsequent DSP effects. I need to determine DSP parameters on the basis of the tags e.g. different Genres to have different Trims, which currently I can do only by an extra pass.

OK, thanks. I hope you consider adding it in future.
