Just starting to use program - unfortunately coming back with errors - please help

I have been trying to rip any of my CDs with no luck. I have a win 7 pro machine with a Samsung SH-B123L drive but the accuraterip cannot get a "key" disc to be read. It also has the drive as unknown. So I put the drive onto "burst" mode but it still comes back with errors. As per below

Error ripping to FLAC, 'Track 2' to 'E:\Flac files\Jack Johnson\On and On\02 Jack Johnson - The Horizon Has Been Defeated.flac'
Unable to read CD, check CD disc (frame LBA 10670 ripping 26 frames track end LBA 22197) [clRipperBurst::Rip]

Error ripping to FLAC, 'Track 1' to 'E:\Flac files\Jack Johnson\On and On\01 Jack Johnson - Times Like These.flac'
Unable to read CD, check CD disc (frame LBA 0 ripping 26 frames track end LBA 10670) [clRipperBurst::Rip]

Error ripping to FLAC, 'Track 3' to 'E:\Flac files\Jack Johnson\On and On\03 Jack Johnson - Traffic in the Sky.flac'
Unable to read CD, check CD disc (frame LBA 22197 ripping 26 frames track end LBA 35014) [clRipperBurst::Rip]

the drive does seem to read the disc and bring up all the tracks and names but unable to rip to FLAC. What am I doing wrong?
I put in about 4 discs for accuraterip but none worked. Please help.

Either the drive or something on the system is simply refusing to supply any audio data when ripping.

Can you play the CD in your drive with the standard OS media player (Windows Media Player in your case)? Also, have you tried running DBPowerAmp under Administrator privilleges? That should bypass any windows security setting (most of the time - unless your admin role has also been restricted). The fact that the drive is marked as "unknown" seems to indicate that DBPowerAmp is restricted somehow.
