I just bought myself and iAudio X5. Since it shows up as a Drive under 'My Computer' I downloaded the 'Mass Storage Device' Driver.
The Problem I'm having now is after I installed the driver and want to start it it is installed as Drive'E' under 'Devices with Removable Storage' but my iAudioactually shows up as Drive 'F' under 'Hard Disk Drives' (together with Drive'C' and my external Harddrive 'G').
Now every time I start my Sveta Drive for my iAudio X5 I get an ERROR message that there is no disk in Drive'E'.
How can I correct this so the Sveta Driver points to the right Drive letter 'F' ?
Have you tried plugging in your player, turning it on, and going to Sveta Configuration (Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP Music Converter>Configuration>Sveta Portable Audio and re-adding your portable?
If this doesn't work, please let us know.
Best wishes,
Bill

Yes I did with the same result. When I added it again the Sveta Driver found a 'Generic Device' and added it at 'Removable Device [E:\]. I just wonder if I can change the Drive letter somehow to 'F' ?
By the way, I have Sveta Release 5 Beta6 Removable Device Release4

Yes you can. Right-click on the "My Computer" icon and go to Manage. Then, click Drive Management (I believe that is the name), right-click on your portable and click "Change drive letters and path" to change the drive letter.
Note that Sveta r5 is final and out.

Cool, let me try that. I guess I first upgrade to the newest driver. Can I just install the new driver over my old driver or should I uninstall the old driver first?

I think it will prompt you if you want to uninstall your current version when you install the new Sveta.
Also, note that Sveta r5 has a different registration status than previous versions. So if you purchased registered Sveta, you will need to use the Registered Link Retrieval mechanism to get a new registered download. See here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/registration/ Please read the instructions on that page before you begin the process and you have to have your order number to do that.
If you do NOT have your order number from when you ordered Sveta, see here: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/announcement.php?f=10&announcementid=8

Oh boy, anywhere that Spoon can look up my ordering number? I remember what email address I used but can't find the receipt.

As I said, if you read the announcement I linked to, if you e-mail spoon with your pertinent information (name, address, approximate date ordered, e-mail address used, package ordered) at the link in the announcement, he'll retrieve your order info and send you a link to a registered download.

The problem is still there. When I try to install the drive the drive-letterchanges as soon as I change it to a different drive letter. It always recognizes my card-reader as 'generic storage device' instead of my X5.
Guess I wait for the link from Spoon for the registered download and see if it works better with the new driver

Jamfreak, to get a newer link you need to email me using one of the links provided by ltdata.
You are best removing the device from Sveta (with sveta add device) then readd it and it should take to the new letter.

This seems to imply that you have a card reader connected to your PC, do you? If you do what drive letter does it have?

I wrote you about a link a couple of days ago. Also tried to remove and readd but no success. Maybe it has to do with fact that the X5 doesn't show up as a removable drive under 'My Computer' but rather as another 'Hard Disc Drive' (like drive 'C' and my external HD 'G')

See the help file for the removable device driver, there are advanced options that allow the drive to be manually specified, or all drives to be listed.
