I've got everythingworking OK with a HDD120, I can upload MP3 files but it crashes if I try to upload WMA's.
They are not protected and the file option list does not offer WMA's.
Any advice?
Have you downloaded and installed the WMA codec for dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) from Codec Central? "Out of the box" dMC and Sveta are set up to handle only .wave and .mp3 (and ripping from cd). To work with any of the other (many) audio formats that dMC and Sveta can work with you need to install the correct codecs for reading (decoding) and/or writing (encoding) different audio formats.
If you think you have, have you checked dMC Configuration (Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP Music Converter>Configuration>dBpowerAMP Music Converter Configuration) to confirm that WMA shows among your installed encoder and decoder codecs? If it does not show, this would suggest that either the codec is not installed or that it is not properly installed (which might happen if you tried installing while logged on without administrative priviledges, if you installed dMC to other than the default location on your hard drive, or if you do not have the right resources on your system to support the wma codec that you have).
I suspect your problem lies in one of these two areas. If your do have the dMC wma codec properly installed and you still have a problem, please let us know.
Best wishes,
Bill
