Sveta unable to connect with Zen Touch

Just got a Creative Zen Touch, have installed Sveta (On Trail) and have upgraded firmware to 2.11.01 and loaded 1800+ mp3 files onto it, sounds great. But when I came to edit some files on the Zen, after clicking the Zen icon I get the following message "error whilst initializing driver communication. Please check portable device is plugged in", it is connected via usb 2.0 lead to PC, anybody got an idea of what I'm doing wrong?

Does the creative software still work with it?

Having more trouble than Flash Gordon ever saw with this Zen Touch. I've managed to get connectivity btween it and Sveta (removed iTunes) but now it appears that Sveta is only seeing 2672MB of storage and not 20Mb (18+) that should be available also shows 86 tracks loaded. The Zen says Free space 18595MB track Count 0.

Think I'll lie down in a dark room!!

That might be a limitation of a 32 bit number (signed) on reporting, ie 4GB is 32 bit, signed is 2GB. Basically just ignore that reporting until there is less than 2GB free.

Used Explorer to transfer 1900 files to Zen, they are on the player, but connecting to Sveta shows just 83 files in LH window and the viewing box above has only one option storage media (2672MB).

Can't believe that is OK??

Make sure you have all the codecs installed into dbpoweramp that are supported on the zen (such as wma).
