320kbps to 192kbps??

I have some music that is recorded @320 kbps.
Do i need to convert it to 192kbps so it will play in an auto mp3 player?
192 works very good in the mp3 player.

Just asking before i messup another cd..... :blush:

I would think that your mp3 player's specs should indicate whether it will handle 320 kbs or not. If you do convert top 192 kbs, check your player's specs to see if it supports variable bitrate, average bitrate, or only constant bitrate. (FWIW-I use mp3 at 192 kbs cbr for discs on my auto's mp3 player).
You probably do not want to delete your source files (the 320 kbs originals).
