Converting .mp3 to .au

I am trying to convert a .mp3 to a .au

I have installed the codec for .au and rebooted the PC.

I don't see how I select this to make to conversion.

Sorry in advance, first day with program.

There is no encoding codec for .au at Codec Central, only a decoding codec.
