i try to convert my wav file so i can put it in my phone but it says The file 'C:\Documents and Settings\famaily\Desktop\moochach.wav' could not be opened.
ACM Codec Not Installed 'UnKnown 69'what do i do
I believe your message implies that it is looking for a certain type of compressed wave file (this is where the ACM part comes in) whereas your wave file is probably a standard, uncompressed PCM wave file.
I would suggest you examine your cell phone's documentation closely to check to see exactly what kind of audio files your phone can accept. If your file accepts PCM wave, you may need to use 8 bit, mono files at 8 kHz or 11.025 kHz rather than standard 16 bit, 44.1 kHz, stereo wave. So check your documentation carefully. If your phone comes with backup software, you should probably use that.
Best wishes,
Bill
