error message converting wma to mp3

I have downloaded and installed (and uninstalled, and reinstalled, and re downloaded, etc) the WMA V9.1 Codec release, but every time I complete installation and the program tries to open I get an error message that says "error whilst running 'C:\.....|dbpowerAMP\MusicComverter.exe"

How can I fix? I am trying to decode wma into mp3. Thanks

Does the error show the correct path to dMC? Did you install the WMA codec to the same directory as dMC?

Using a registered version of dMC or an unexpired trial version? Otherwise you cannot use the mp3 encoder codec.

Check dMC Configuration.

That error is after install, the codec hasn't been installed to the same location as music converter.
