Easy fix
When browsing for a new source folder - the browser 'should' (windows convention) default to pointing at the currently selected source folder (not go right back to route folder)

In what program? Because dMC does keep the last folder information and starts right there.

dbpoweramp
it does remember where the output folder is - it's only apparent when you change it by opening the browser
i change output folders each time i convert a CD - and each time the browser defaults back to 'My documents' - which is a long way from where my music folders are
if you tried to change your output folder right now - when you click the browser button you'll see it doesn't start by pointing at your currently selected output folder (Windows convention) - it points somewhere else & you'll have to navigate to it

If I may ask, why do you change the output folder whenver you rip a CD? Do you rip all of your CDs to one directory? If so, just change where dMC puts the ripped songs under "File Creation". For instance, mine is:
[artist]\[album]\[track number xx] - [artist] - [track]
Of course, you can adjust this by clicking "set" and typing your own choice or using a pre-defined one.

So in fact your'e talking about dMC Audio CD Input - or Cd Grabber as it is also known. And you're not talking about the source folder but the output folder.
I see. It may be convenient to place the pointer on the last folder used ... Don't know how hard that would be. Lots of programs don't do it though, so maybe it is not an easy fix.

I did mean the 'output/destination' folder (not source - forgot to amend the title b4 i posted)
Not an issue, I've just made a folder "dbpoweramp" & leave it at that & move files wherever, afterwards
Just figured it would be easy fix to make sure the browser default to pointing at the current output folder (not default to pointing at My Docs every time - I'm on home network & i can be a long way away)
