I'm having trouble with the Track # field in MMC. All my tracks are misnumbered by 1. For example the first track in every album has no track number, the second track is nymbered #1, the third track #2, etc...

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

WMA tracks?

Yes WMA Lossless tracks. Sorry for not including in the original post.

What created the files?

I ripped and encoded the tracks using WMP10. As I noted in my first post, other media players don't have a problem. Also the track numbers are part of the file name (don't know if this matters)

and you are using the latest dbpoweramp wma codec?

I think so however I'm not 100% sure. There's a chance I'm using v9 because I'm not sure how long v9.1 has been on Codec Central. When I get home tonight, I'll download v9.1 and see if it works.

I downloaded the latest WMA codec and it still doesn't work. The track numbers arel all off by one.

Check your WMA tagging options. Try setting it to "WM/TrackNumber & WM/Track"

Sorry for the dumb question, but how do I do that?

Go into dMC Configuration (Start --> Programs --> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration). Depending on your version, you either have a "ID Tagging Options" tab or a "ID Tag Options" button. Click on the button/tab and see what the setting for WMA is.

Thanks. I'll give it a try when I get home tonight.

I think that is just for tag writing. I will note this as a bug to be looked at.

Did this ever get looked at? I REALLY want to use MMC because I love the other products.

It is next in line for a bug to look at (currently looking at flac tagging issues).

So it definitely is an issue? It's not just me.

Don't know will be looking at it then (I don't have WMP 10 and will have to install on a throw away windows ;) ).
