Hi I'm trying to listen to an album I downloaded (legally/illegally, it's irrelevant, no?) but it's 320kbps/48khz. I have a Creative 24Bit Sound Card which can handle it, and Media Player Classic plays it fine. Do I need to download a plugin? It doesn't seem to have one for 48khz; only a 44.1khz->48khz converter. Anyway, I'm using r3-b6 and everything else works fine. No plugins installed ATM.

If anyone wants a 30 second sample I can up it somewhere. 30 seconds is so that the copyright crap doesn't get infringed.

Lastly, please don't tell me to convert it to 44.1khz.

Any sound card should play that file fine as 48KHz

I'll send you a sample, Spoon, any way I can do this?

Do you mean dAP cannot play the file?

Is it Lame mp3 @ 320kbps, 48KHz 2-channel stereo? CBR? VBR? I can play both kinds (but my sound card is only 16-bit to the best of my knowledge).

You haven't actually said what type of file it is: mp3 or wav or what?

Your sever is denying access to that file.

A simple solution.
Create a second copy of the file, use the Music Converter, and keep it at MP3, change the Frequency to 41K, and then try getting dAP to play it again.
