Totally Confused!!

I downloaded and then installed Sveta twice. The first time I didn't install PP or Audio Input because I already have the latest versions. I installed the Nomad drivers. When I tried to use Sveta Explorer transfer files to my Nomad IIc I got an error message ''unable to tranfer.....please check if connected..." Nomad was connected.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled again this time installing PP and Audio Input. I now have two icons one for CDGrab.exe & one for dMC Audio Input. I also have one icon for Nomad Internal Memory & one for Nomad Smart Media. I now can transfer files but why do I have load the Internal Memory, close the app then open Smart Media and then load that?? The drop down box has a choice of internal memory or combined memory. When I choose combined memory there is no change to the files displayed. Is this the way Sveta is supposed to work or have I done something wrong? Should I uninstall everything (dMC, Sveta, PP, drivers)and try again?

The first time I installed Sveta I uninstalled PlayCenter (came with Nomad) and its drivers. When Sveta didn't work I tried to re-install Playcenter. My PC crashed during the installation. After I rebooted I noticed that Playcenter was in the ADD/Remove dialogue but i couldn't uninstall, so I installed it again. PlayCenter doesn't work now and I can't uninstall it. I get an error ...logfile....\player2.isu is not valid or corrupted...
I've never had this type of software problem before. Could this be somehow related to installing stuff over stuff, installing/removing drivers, removing wdm dist.....
What do I do now???

Any extra icons on the desktop you don't like - just delete them.

The Nomad appears like that because creative wrote it that way - I hope to obtain a Nomad II one day and get my own drivers working with it.
