can't record from line in

when I try to record from line in I get this -
The CODEC required to decompress '\\Aux\Track01.aux' could not be opened.
the audio comes from radio or cassetes,
which codec do I need?

It's not a codec to chose from. Rather you have to use dMC Auxiliary Input and record what you hear through the soundcard to whatever format you want to record to (.wav is best).
