I'd like to use dAP to play back mp3 data located in alternate named streams of files. Is anyone aware of a way to have dAP automatically scan a given named stream for specific file extensions in order to find and play back audio data?

There's no streaming support in dAP at present.

ChristinaS,
Thanks for the reply, but that wasn't the question. I'm looking to play MP3 files on disk, but which are stored in Microsoft NTFS alternate "named streams."
See http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/misc.shtml#streams for more on the subject in general.

Oh, sorry. I thought you meant streaming audio whether from a streaming server of a meta file. :o

Are there currently any plans to implement streaming audio in the near future?

There is a poll here (http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=5089) and it has been on Spoon's to-do list for a little bit now.
