Hi, thanks for responding to my message yesterday. Another problem I'm having is that the following error message comes up a lot: "The CODEC required to decompress '\\AUX\track01.aux' could not be found." This comes up when I try to convert music from my tape deck. I looked for a codec for .aux from codec central but couldn't find one. Thanks.

Shouldn't you be using dMC Auxiliary Input for this? Record to .wav or other format as you play audio through the sound card's auxiliary input jack.
