Hello, I have a new CD (lounge music) and when I read it with my usual player (Axialis AX-CDPlayer french software), it is recognized thru a server: us.cddb.com.
Then, I close my player and open the dbPowerAMp Audio Cd Input to rip it, but my CD is not recognized any more.
I should enter each track, etc. and I submit it to the freedb.freedb.org server.
This is not the only CD with this difference.
Is it possible to add the us.cddb.com server in my dbPowerAMP Audio CD Input software?
Thanks a lot for any information about those dbs.
Regards, Claude.

You could try, but it probably won't work. dBpowerAMP used to use CDDB, but AFAIK software producers are now charged for accessing CDDB, which is why dBpowerAMP uses FreeDB instead.

Thanks for your answer, I understand why we use freedb!
