help pliz - mpg to mp3

hi, im trying to convert mpg into mp3, i want a music played in the video file... but when i convert it into mp3 and listen in the winamp the music is played faster than original, really fast. What can i do to the music be played in the original speed ?

Nothing unfortunately, Spoon has said that the mpg audio decoder that he is using is pretty poor and it is known to do that :(

You can use VirtualDub from http://virtualdub.org/ to extract the audio as a Wave file, and then convert this to MP3 using dMC.

It think something has worked in the past - that is to install the mp3PRO input decoder (follow all instructions), then it will convert correctly.
