This last year has seen big updates to dMC, Sveta (2 months before release) and CD writer 2 (very soon to be released).

What does the new year hold for dBpowerAMP? I will Christen 2005 as the year of the dAP, dBpowerAMPs Audio Player is going to get a major overhaul, to once more make it a cutting edge player.

The Music Converter should gain:

'Secure' CD ripping (tied in with AccurateRip, to offer something not seen before, fast accurate ripping)
ReplayGain Support (all codecs),
Better playlist support + support for cue sheets
Unicode support in programs (codecs are unicode compatible already)

Lets hope I am able to keep these resolutions! Have a Happy New year.dBpowerAMP's New Year Resolutions

when dap gains streaming capability will you also make something like shoutcast for live broadcasting capabilities?

i am waiting on some equipment to extend my wi-fi coverage to approx 50km's and will be testing streaming but would also be intersted in broadcasting. i am only approx 3 km's from the city so people in the city should be able to stream music off my PC at work :D

Wow, you might get planes landing on your house!

I don't think I have the resources ATM to make a shoutcast streamer.

lol, nah it is all legal and above board. it is really amazing how far these wi-fi set ups can go these days. if i were to add a booster and max it out to the maximum allowable by law i could go much further. it depends on how far above ground you are too, as buildings and tree's are a hazard to wi-fi.

mine will only be on a ten meter pole on the roof. i worked out in total the antenna would be aprox 27 meters above sea level, and i have direct L.O.S to the city, so it should be interesting in how many wi-fi AP points i can locate.

ok well i will have to wait a bit longer for the shotcast streamer then.
