Using Wavpack 4.1 code, this codec is compatible with dMC R11 tagging.

Just tried this wavepack.

Using the Loseness/high settings. It worked but put out a file with the
extension of "wv" (as opposed to wav). Is this correct?
The output file did play in dBplayer but other players would not play it (invalid
type).

Renaming the extension to wav wouldn't work.

*.wv is the extension for wavepack.
*.wav is for wave files.

If you are ever in doubt about what file extension(s) are associated with a particular format or codec, you can check dMC configuration.
