When trying to send WMA files to my RIO600 and 'sending them as is', when the file completes i get an error. It says 'Musicconvertor has caused an error in <unknown>'. The file usually goes across fine, but id like to stop this error

Any Help

thnx

Does everything else work - ie if you converted a WMA file and sent it?

If I convert when I send it goes fine. Even if I convert WMA to WMA when I send it goes fine. When I send WMA as is it will transfer but when it hits 100% an error message appears in the backgound but the program still responds and works fin i.e. I can press finish!

Think its just a bug

Thanks

Your software is the best thing to hit the RIO600. Its a real pleasure to use after having to deal with the software that came with it.

Dont know if youve got a wish list or anything because I havent looked around the forums much, but perhaps you could put an option in to decide if you want icons in the context menu or even a cascaded menu... much like Winzip does.

Thanks for the help

Steve

Just got around to trying it with my 600, I took an existing WMA file and used Music Converter 'Send As Is' - it went across fine and didn't crash at end.

When did you last download the Rio 600 Sveta driver? it was updated about 4 weeks ago to stop such a crashing.

I am getting the same thing only it dosen't matter whether I convert or not.

I downloaded the WMA thingy again and installed it. (hope that uninstall thing for Sveta dosen't apply to the drivers too.)

But that brings up a question for me. Why arent' the version numbers of these codecs shown in the dMC Configuration panel. I was in the dark about what version I have. All that's beside them is empty brackets [ ] Is this correct?

Good Point Sevta should really show the version numbers too...
