last second of track repeated

After a track has finished playing it just repeats the last second and won't automatically goto the next track when 'randomnly play music collection' is selected. It's not a major problem but it's quite annoying, could you shed any light?

I ran into the same problem but was able to correct it.
What versions of dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) and dBpowerAMP Audio Player (dAP) are you using? Does this happen with all files or just with certain formats?

The standard simple dAP adjustments are: 1) to go to your dAP Options menu, click on the Amp button and change your setting from DirectX to Wav Out or vice versa; or,
2) go to your dAP Options menu, click on MultiPlayer and turn off both Gapless Play and Crossfade options if either or both are enabled.

So try these. If they don't work try reinstalling dAP or try downloading and running the following routine to restore dAP to its original settings:
