Trying Sveta Portable Audio (latest version) and can't rip to Creative Zen Xtra 30GB. Rips first track to temp but won't transfer to the device. Have to use Windows task Manager to exit program. Tried several different CD's - same result. Re-installed drivers - no go. Transfer OK using explorer just can't rip & transfer on the fly. What do I try next?

Thanks

It is a known problem, I have not been able to fix it. Although if you uninstall the Creative Sveta Driver, remove your Creative device from Sveta, then install the WDM driver (install the driver for Intel Concerto) it will allow Rip CD to Creative.

Thanks for your response, Spoon.

I followed your instructions and now I am able to rip & transfer. That part works great. However, I notice some irregularities in Sveta:

1) some tracks (but not all) display the file name instead of using the tag info even though the tag info is present. ("03 - Furry Sings The Blues" instead of just "Furry Sings The Blues" while every other track from the same CD displays just "Track Name")

2) no EXTRAS menu.

3) doesn't read used/available space on the device correctly.

4) doesn't read details such as bitrate, type, length.

5) no option to select "as source" for Channels when encoding.

Can any of these issues be resolved?

Thanks

I can fix problem 5! install dMC R11 beta over the top.

The others are limitations of the WMA driver, it is going to be looked at in the next few weeks to upgrade it and possibly fix those.
