congrats on releasing the HDD060 spoon! im sure its a HUGE HUGE blesssing for those forced to use the DMM for their device. But will this driver work for the HDD100/120 also? And if not are there plans to release a driver for that? Ive noticed that a couple other people have released their own replacements for the DMM software but ive been holding off using theirs because id MUCH rather use Sveta. But if theres no plans for the HDD100 then im gonna have to move on :(
Hello to you,
I tried again with more mp3 and all worked well for now.
Unknow wath appened in the first time, something with the data base file got wrong...
I have a question can i delete the backuped MyDB file ?
Because i have more then only one there greated by Sveta.
Thanks for the effort making Sveta HDD060 ready.
Will register soon.
Thanks again.

KGB seems I had the same trouble as you did the first time I used Sveta with the DMM the Database got corrupted and I had to format and rebuild the system files with DMM .So then I used ptune and transfred all my files back I then wanted to see if Sveta could see the files transfered with Ptune and It could .After that I tried the format freature to see what it did it removed all the music files but not the database file which had been updated by ptune yay .The I transfered one file works ok ,a folder with files worked ok and then a folder with subfolders worked ok .
A few bugs spoon should look at is the database not updating or being corupted with first use of Sveta not a good way to promote a product when it makes thier HDD show the ! icon ooooops .
The file transfer progress bar is not in sync with the actual file transfer it gets to 100% well before the actual file transfer is done it gets to 100% in seconds where file transfer may take 30mins with about 200 mp3s.Even ptunes progress bar keeps in sync with the file transfer .
Sveta hangs when you are in the middle of file transfer if you try to cancel or click Sveta in any way .It Doesnt seem to run file tranfer in its own thread .
If I find anymore bugs I will post looking good so far .

KGB you can go and delete those backups if you want , if you really stuff up you can always update them with DMM again .
PS Spoon look at having a feature that formats the HDD and replaces the firmware in Sveta incase a users database gets corrupted .

Found another bug the driver wont edit ID3 tags yet the app just hangs for a long time also if your transfering a directory of songs it may take over an hour with the current driver for Sveta, ptune takes about 20-25 minutes the same as windows explorer.
Hello,
Sorry for the empty post, there is no edit for guest ? :-(
Thanks _Matt for you reply.
I got not exactly the same trouble as you.
But so far it's working well with Sveta.
I have seen a graphical bug in list of file if you scroll down or up.
But that not a driver problem...
Looking forward for updates from Spoon for the HDD060 and Sveta.
Cheers.
Hello again,
After some more playing with Sveta and HDD060 it seems that the Mydb is not allways updated or is it me that miss something ?
To correct this, i replug the usb and let reconize the HDD060
and then disconect it from usb.
This solve the problem for me, strange.
Sveta don't refresh the artist or album on the pc screen
after deleting the entire mp3's from the device.
So far Sveta is far more better then DMM.
Cheers.

Where to begin? :)
This driver will not work with hdd100/120, I will investigate such at a later date.
The backup files (it will create 8 max) they can be deleted but will be recreated each time sveta is run, if there is a need this could have an option to switch off.
The bug with folders jumping to 100% quickly, I have seen such and can investigate. I am concerned though of the remaining bugs that are not so easy to track (even if I had a hdd060 I think):
The one I am most concerned about is the corrupting of the database, if it gets in this state for anyone, please copy me the _system\media\audio\mydb and mydb.bck files so it can be investigated.
About the not updating the database always - perhaps try the 'unmount philips on exit' option, it may help, it might make it works (depends upon the philips usb drivers).

Ok Ive emailed the <email removed for spam reasons> addy with a nice new corrupted database and the backup file Spoon so look for it . This was on a cleaned HDD that had been formated and updated with the system files with DMM .Hope this helps in your bugfixing .

It should help :)
The HDD060 driver has been updated, WMA files are now supported, adding folders of files will show the correct %, I have changed the database save slightly (might help on the corruption problem). I haven't been able to find the 100% computer when edit tag problem (perhaps in Philips properties switch off the option to update the tag in the file and see if that helps). Download new philips driver here:

Just installed the updated HDD060 driver. Works like a dream - now I can transfer my WMA files with no problems. Likewise editing the ID3 tags works flawlessly.
Thank you for making my HDD060 a pleasure to work with, as well as a pleasure to listen to.
Best Wishes,

I have a huge problem with Sveta.
I installed the new beta and the newest HDD060 driver (for Sveta) and I sent some wma songs to my player. Everything ok till now. So I wanted to listen to my new songs, they were showed by my player, but as I played them the player skipped from one to another track and played none of the files I have sent with Sveta.
What shall I do?
Thanks

Try editing the ID3 tag the HDD is really sensitive to ID3 tag info espsecialy genres .I had the same problem with some .wma's edited the genre and bingo it worked .So make sure the tag is correct .
@ spoon I tried that database you sent me and it didnt corrupt the HDD at all although I was useing the updated driver so you probably fixed whatever cuased my problem . Cant wait till you get your HDD and start finding all its secrets and easter eggs ;) :komisch12

Also check the wma files are not protected (try converting them with dbpoweramp to wav, see if it can?)
Good news on the corruption :)

hi.
I have just downloaded the release 5 beta 6 with driver release 1 and so far it works perfectly.
two questions.
1)how often are u intending to release new betas? and do these apply to the sveta or the driver?
2)kinda off topic but is there a program that i can use, to get music back from my hdd?

Hopefully the driver shouldn't need much updating, Sveta should be constantly improved.
Sveta can copy audio off the HDD use Sveta explorer and the arrow pointing to the right.
