Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, cuz i couldn't really figure out where to put this. I have been reading up on how to convert iTunes music into mp3, but I do not want to burn all six hundred of my songs to cd... that would be way too many cd's. I have found that you can burn your music with the data cd format. Is there any way in dB to convert these data music files to a format that can be read by a minidisc player? Thanks in advance. :o

What format does your minidisc player require?
In any case, if you cannot convert your iTunes files to mp3 directly using dMC, you also cannot convert them to anything else directly, thus the only option is to burn them to audio cd and then rip those cd's to other file formats such as mp3 or whatever else you need.
But you may also want to check out this thread where, after a lot of meandering, I think there's a solution involving a package called Hymn. http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?p=21468#post21468

Thi simplest way I've found to do this ( Still taking Tylenol for headache from banging head on wall ) is to use Audacity from Source Forge. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/ Initiate the m4p and record it to Audacity. Then save it as you wish. You need the lame thing for an MP3, I didn't deal with that, I just did it as a WAV, and converted the WAV to MP3 because of the headache and I'm lazy if I can get away with it. But..I use windows, and it worked very well.
Let me know if it worked for you

Do the words "dead thread" mean anything to you? dMC's Auxiliary Input does the same thing and will convert to mp3 if you have a valid PowerPack trial or registration.
