yes i installed to the dbpoweramp folder. there is no list when i go to configuration, there is just a few check boxes i can check on and off. im talking about when i run music converter and i pick an mp3 there is no m4a choice in the list of things i can convert it to.

do you have file association? start-->programs-->dbpoweramp-->configuration-->file association

also check start-->dbpoweramp music converter-->configuration-->dmc configuration
and see if it shows in the list.

Is there a chance that you have installed the "read-only" codec and not the "write-only" codec?
Best wishes,

nevermind im an idiot i got the decoder but not the encoder. it works now but the mp4 is alot quieter than the mp3 is there any way to fix that, volume normalizer doesnt help.
BTW this forum is weird with the varying depths of replys how come sometimes when i click reply my post is seen right away when i click on the thread and sometimes i have to click view replys below current depth
