Sveta Audio does not find PMP300

I have installed the correct software and driver from the Sveta Audio page for my PMP300 onto 3 different PCs, using Win98, Win2000, and WinXP. On each of them the install seems to work fine, but when it comes to adding the device, it doesn't find it. I have attached the device to each one in turn, and tried all advanced settings that I can think of, and still nothing.

Can someone please advise?

On the Windows 98 PC try the original software that came with the Rio, if that does not work then I think the Rio is not working.

Unfortunately I have lost the CDs. I had my PC rebuilt recently, and that it when I noticed the CDs were no longer around. I am using the RIO to listen to music on a regular basis, so the player itself is actually working. Is it possible to buy another lead to connect to the PC, do you know? Maybe that is what is faulty.

It would be cheaper to get a new player (you would be best with a USB one for compatibility).
