Windows Media Player Files (WMA)

I've downloaded and installed the WMA codec for DAP, but it still doesn't play Windows Media files. I can convert them easy enough in DMC, but I was wondering what was going on?

Are DAP and DMC installed in the same place? The codec package includes a decoder for DAP and an encoder for DMC.
