Professional Frequency Conversion

What is the "Professional Frequency Conversion" setting? How does it work? I guess it doesn't matter when i use a lossless codec?

Not used with lossless, it is only used if the frequency is changed.

The professional freq. conversion setting uses a much better method/algorithm for changing the sample rate than the standard Windows 'built-in' sample rate converter, which is used if you don't choose the 'professional' setting.

The professional converter is slower, but 100x better :-)

You can hear the difference on piano pieces with lots of harmonics. The windows converter sounds 'gritty' while the professional converter retains
the smooth original sound.

My test file for this development was always the first 30 seconds of 'Victims' by Culture Club. A piano concerto would give the same effect. Give it a try!
