What's happening on this item? Is Spoon back from vacation yet?

Sorry, I meant to post this under the illegal operation error thread. But the question still stands. Is the error on exit and hanging when my player is empty going to be fixed?

Just Wondering.

Only just...I will look at it this week end.

Had a look at it for about 3 hours, and just kept going around in circles. I have pretty much come to the conclusion that the WDM stuff does not like being called from my device driver dll (I can rem out the entire WDM stuff but for one start up line), it would much rather be loaded from the main program.

Pretty much because of MSs poor programming I will have to re-work the core part of sveta some how. I need to think somemore on it.

I think I have fixed it, please save this file to:

C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dbpoweramp

overwriting the existing:

http://www.dbpoweramp.com/beta/svetaexplorer.exe

100KB, let me know if it works and I will create an updated Sveta install.

The error on exit is fixed, which is great. However, it still hangs when the memory is empty. But keep it up, 'cause like I said before, I still find it way better and faster than Notmad Explorer.

The hanging from what I can tell on 0Kb is a problem with the nomad drivers (I think), if I remember correctly Windows Media Player has the exact same problem.

Does WMP hang on yours?

Nope, works OK.

Get Sveta so it hangs for a while, exit sveta, then post the contents of

C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\Sveta-log.txt

Here, it might shed some light.

Sorry I was so slow, its summer you know.

I set up my Nomad II internal memory with only one track. When I deleted it, it didn't hang and showed no files. When I clicked refresh, it hung. Had to ctrl-alt-del to close it down. When I tried to open Sveta again on the empty intermal memory, it hangs again. The log file is 4MB, so I only posted the top part of it, the last part repeats ad nauseum. I now have to run Playcenter to load at least one file.

I actually have a Nomad II and a Nomad II MG hooked up to this machine, sometimes at the same time, though not during the current test. My Nomad II only was docked.

Here's the file.

This repeats ad nauseum with different location numbers.

The viewing dropdown box does not work for me. For my Nomad II, the only two selections showing are whatever I selected to start the program (in my current case, Nomad II Internal memory) and Combined Memory). Selecting Combined Memory gives me the same list, just the internal memory. To see my Smartmedia card, I have to shut the program down, then start it again selecting Nomad II Smartmedia Icon.

Again, since it is faster then Notmad or Playcenter, it is easy to workaround by stopping and starting, but it would be nice if I didn't have to.

Thx

To combine your two cards - that is a feature scheduled for Sveta Release 3.

Hmmm...So creative return 100000 files when there are none....try this test version:

That fixed it. No hanging. What do I win for QA test guy of the month?

Thanks,
