I'm unable to get my Intel Pocket Concert to show up in the Sventa Portable Audio configuration. I'm using windows 2000. Any ideas?
Cheers, Paul.

Have you installed the Intel Pocket concert for Sveta? If not, you can get it from:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/bin/svetadrivers/SPA-WDM.exe

If you have Windows Media Player 7 then please try that, Sveta uses the same connections as WMP 7.

I looked on the microsoft help page for portable devices & according to that the driver for the intel pocket concert is XP only.
http://windowsmedia.com/mg/portabledevices.asp?
Any ideas, or do I have to upgrade to XP.
Cheers
Paul.

That is just MS for you, anything older than XP is not listed on their main web pages, but saying that all Windows 98 and above should work fine with your player.
Do you have the player working on your system through the supplied program? does your Concerto appear in the device manager list when you plug it in (under the USB section)?

Yeah, the player works fine with the supplied audio manager. It also show up ok in the device manager as an 'intel audio class device'.

Try to add the device using Sveta, then look in C:\program files\illustrate\dbpoweramp
There is a text file there called Sveta-log.txt, if you could post the contents here it might give an insight.

That looks all fine, no errors, but then again no device.
I don't know what to suggest other than to bend compaqs ear a little to see if they know why WMP 7 and ultimately Sveta is not picking it up.

The Pocket Concert is made by Intel who have stopped production & support of these devices earlier this year.
Guess I'll have to stick with the supplied audio manager.
Never mind, thanks for your help anyway.
Paul.
