Random Function

I am having a problem with the random function. i have about 1200 tracks in my collection, and it only ever seems to play about 50 - 100 of them, some have even been played 10 times within a month, which seems a little impossible considuring the amount of tracks it has to play through.

I was wondering if you could clarify how the random function works, such as how it takes the star rating into effect as I have not altered any stars.

There is a known glitch in the Random Play function for dAP release one (and earlier beta versions). I am given to understand that dAP release 2 (currently available in beta release) has a significant improvement in the Random Play feature but I have not personally tried it.

Yes, the betas of Release 2 are much more random. Become a beta tester and you can try it out.
