ipod rebooting after switch on

Hi everybody,
I'm using dbpoweramp for ripping my cds since I own a new 30GB ipod. I also first transfererred my already ripped mp3 files but do encode to mp4 now.
I'm experiencing the strange behaviour that my ipod keeps rebooting almost every time I awake it from sleep (no matter if it turned off by timer or actively ).
Does anybody have the same behavior? Is it possible that dbpoweramp is provoking this behavior?

Mine does that with a low battery, try it running off the mains adaptor.

Hi Spoon,
it is happening independent of the status of the battery - even if it is full. But - it is not happening when it is running docked in and having power supply. Im thinking about sending it back for service ....
