EU tax

As far as I know imports into the EU are tax-free up to € 22 (currently $ 33,96). So I wonder why it’s added on the Power Pack. (The € 22 limit will be increased to € 150 in december.) (The data above applies to Germany, but I think it’s EU-wide.)

Not for electronic goods, even $1 has to have EU vat paid (it was an eu electronic sales directive in 2002).
