Question about ID Tag's

My problem is, that my mp3 player will not recognize ID3V2 tags. Most of my downloaded files came with such tags, so i want to convert it to ID3V1 tags which works fine for my player. If i rip from my audio cd's it works fine, because i configured 'never set ID3V2 tags', so the question for me...
Is it possible to convert ID3V2 to ID3V1 tags quick and easy?

Try a program called Dr. Tag, Tag&Rename, or ID3Kill.
