Hi, I've just downloaded the CDWriter trial, and installed onto a 64 bit Server 2003 machine.
Want to put the music from an MP4 onto a CD for basic old fashioed CD player.
Dragging MP4 file into window prompts to load AAC codec.
So I did that but I get an Install error
Error While Running
C:\Program Files (x86)\Illustrate\dbPoweramp\dbconfig.exe.
I also went and obtained the Neroo Digtial files and added those.
Any ideas how to mend?

You need Music Converter installed before CD Writer.

Which version of the CD writer and dMC did you install? If you installed dMC r12, you need to use the beta of the r3 CD Writer.

This suggests CD writer r3 will work with dMC 12.4.
But here:

Spoon says dMC 13 alpha is needed for CD writer r3.
Who is right? I'm sure it's Spoon, since he is after all "Da man" but I hope Lt Data is right since I have dMC 12.4 and I would like to try the CD writer r3 beta....!

Originally it worked with r12, but apparently some changes have been made that require r13, which makes sense as the writer will be release after r13. Also, r13 is perfectly stable, just not feature complete, hence the "alpha" label.

CD Writer R3 will require R13 (it needs the new code to spawn conversions).
