no codec?????

I started getting this error out of nowhere.... it was working fine before

The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Converted Music\Pluck.wav.TEMP.wav' could not be opened.

Then I uninstalled db and reinstalled it

then the same error came up

Pleasegive suggestions.

Try Convert To >> Wave - click 'CD Quality' button, also try converting to C:\ on its own.

But I wanted to convert to Mono...why is this doing this?

It was working fine YESTERDAY! and then BOOM...it's not :(
and even a second reinstall did nada. I willtry what you said tho.
Please keep thinking. Is there apatch? can I download the wav codec...oh help a damsel in distress.

It might be the file you are converting from, try converting some of the Wave files in C:\Windows\Media as a test of wave conversion.

They are wavs....weird thing is some work...some dont...even the same thing happens with certain mp3's
