Hi,

I am new to dBpa and will shortly buy the program as soon as I have installed a Boot Camp partition on my Mac. (For some reason dBpa doesn't work using VMware Fusion.)

I heave read a lot about the new R13 and its improved meta tagging - which is a very nice feature.

My question is whether R13 is stable enough for secure ripping as I will do most of my tagging in iTunes afterwards - I simply want the most secure rip possible into AIFF and then convert to Apple Lossless in iTunes.

Many thanks for any input.

Yes R13 is stable, with Batch Ripper there are 10,000's of CDs being ripped every week.

dMC r13 is still in alpha because Spoon has not added all of the features yet, the beta part will be working out the minor bugs that crop up that were not caught during the alpha testing. Note that this is my understanding of how the alpha/beta process works and may not be correct.

Thanks all.

Just to confirm, R13 includes all of R12's features but does not include ALL new features scheduled for R13?
