open an m4a file?

Hello!
My problem is when I'm trying to open a file to get converted, it doesn't appear in the 'select audio file(s)' menu.
It's especially with m4a files.

I'd just looooooove your help!!

You have installed the m4a codec? perhaps your audio files are m4p which are protected Apple files.
