transcode and transfer a .m3u playlist?

--ipod 80GB 5.5 Gen player
--Win XPSP2

Let's say I have this playlist:
m:\playlists\hotparty.m3u

it references 4 tracks in this order:
m:\musicbank\techno\dancy1.flac
m:\musichome\dub\spacey1.m4a
m:\musicbank\afterhours\glitchy.flac
m:\musicbank\stream\newmixed.mp3

#1 Can I tell Sveta to copy the playlist to the Ipod and it will copy not just the list itself but all the tracks too?

#2 Can Sveta automatically transcode the FLAC files to ALAC but copy the ALAC (.m4a) and MP3 files as-is?

#3 Will I see a playlist in the ipod called "hotparty" and can I just select it and it will play those 4 tracks in that order?

#1 not sure, never played with playlists in this manner
#2 yes, click the "options" button and go into Smart conversions, you can tell it what to convert to and what formats to NOT convert.
